Changelog
What is new in BridgeME.
Every change across BridgeME Cloud and the Bridge products, newest first, in the words each product’s own help uses.
October 2026
Approving a change request moves the plan by exactly its days — it used to move it twice. If the plan then runs past the project's planned end, the approve dialog says so and the planned end moves with it. A decision somebody already made elsewhere is refused with one clear message and changes nothing, and the success message waits for the save.
Change requests: impacts below 0 are refused beside the box, when raising and when editing; a closed project is no longer offered for a new change request; an unknown tab in the Changes address opens Awaiting decision; and a long title wraps inside its row with the code kept whole.
You now stay signed in to Bridge AI for 30 days between visits, and every visit restarts the 30 days — closing the browser no longer signs you out. Signing out, here or in any BridgeME product, still ends every product at once, and changing your password signs out your other devices.
A board in the Trash now says This board is in the trash. Restore it first. when anything tries to change it — saving a version, editing its items, renaming it, drawing a diagram on it, or the BridgeME assistant doing any of these — instead of saying the board does not exist. Restore it from Trash and it takes changes again.
When the BridgeME assistant makes a new board with a diagram on it and the diagram can't be drawn (a line to a box that isn't there, say), no board is made — you no longer find empty boards left behind. Board names lose the spaces around them, so a name of only spaces is refused, and a colour the board doesn't have ("neon-pink", palette:99) is refused with the list of colours it does have instead of turning grey.
Board lists and search no longer stop at 200 boards (or 25 search results) without saying so: the page says Showing N of M boards and Load more shows the rest. A new bar above Recent, All boards, Favourites and Trash sorts boards by last edited, date created, name or owner and filters them by date created, last edited, who made them, who can see them and Shared with me; the filters show as removable tags and stay after a refresh. Search also finds words after a slash, such as passwd in etc/passwd.
Text that starts with a number and a full stop — 16. The boots sold… — now shows the number you typed. It used to show 1. in every box, because the line was drawn as a numbered list starting from one.
A Combo (bar and line) chart's settings have Bars or lines: choose for each set of figures whether it is drawn as bars or as a line, and the BridgeME assistant can choose the same. Existing charts look as they did — the first set as bars, the rest as lines.
Versions shows each version's name, when it has one, and who saved it — a person, or the BridgeME assistant for them. The assistant can name the versions it saves and can draw a diagram on the page you name, not only the first.
Lines between boxes now go around the other boxes instead of through them and over their text. A line from a box to the boxes below it joins bottom to top, the way an org chart reads, and lines to boxes stacked in a column run beside the column, each into its own box. Lines you bent by hand, and straight or curved lines, are drawn as before; an exported picture shows the same lines as the board.
You now stay signed in to Bridge Canvas for 30 days between visits, and every visit restarts the 30 days — closing the browser no longer signs you out. Signing out, here or in any BridgeME product, still ends every product at once, and changing your password signs out your other devices.
Search boards also finds what people wrote in a board's comments, on boards you can open. The BridgeME assistant can now read a board's comments, the link behind each Figma, Google Drive or OneDrive embed (without any sign-in token in it) and each picture's link, and can find and use the shapes your organisation uploaded under Your shapes when it draws a diagram.
A Google Drive, OneDrive or Figma link — or a FigJam import — for an app BridgeME does not offer yet now says it isn't available on BridgeME yet, instead of asking an administrator to add it.
Synced email now lands on the company's open deal when there is exactly one (or the one that names somebody on the thread), and a meeting you log goes on that deal too. A person can have Other email addresses, so mail from any of them is theirs. A thread shows Not in the CRM yet for people at the company's domain who are nobody here, with Add to make them a person in one click.
You now stay signed in to Bridge CRM for 30 days between visits, and every visit restarts the 30 days — closing the browser no longer signs you out. Signing out, here or in any BridgeME product, still ends every product at once, and changing your password signs out your other devices.
Connecting a Google or Microsoft 365 mailbox that BridgeME does not offer yet now says it isn't available on BridgeME yet, instead of An administrator adds this for the organisation.
You now stay signed in to Bridge Docs for 30 days between visits, and every visit restarts the 30 days — closing the browser no longer signs you out. Signing out, here or in any BridgeME product, still ends every product at once, and changing your password signs out your other devices.
A file block or code card for an app BridgeME does not offer yet — Google Drive, OneDrive, GitHub or GitLab — now says it isn't available on BridgeME yet, with nothing to press, instead of asking you to get an administrator to add it.
You now stay signed in to Bridge Finance for 30 days between visits, and every visit restarts the 30 days — closing the browser no longer signs you out. Signing out, here or in any BridgeME product, still ends every product at once, and changing your password signs out your other devices.
Emailing an invoice from a Google or Microsoft mailbox BridgeME does not offer yet now says sending from that mail isn't available on BridgeME yet, instead of asking you to connect a mailbox nobody can connect.
You now stay signed in to Bridge HRM for 30 days between visits, and every visit restarts the 30 days — closing the browser no longer signs you out. Signing out, here or in any BridgeME product, still ends every product at once, and changing your password signs out your other devices.
Milestones: the Slipped tab is now Missed, the word the status uses, and each milestone is in exactly one of Upcoming, Missed and Completed — a Planned one whose date has passed counts as missed. The header says N upcoming · N missed. The criteria box is Acceptance criteria and the audience Client-facing in every dialog and in the table.
Forms show each text box's limit as a counter (123 / 4,000) and say beside the box, in its own words, when it is over — Objective must be 4,000 characters or fewer. You entered 4,001. Save waits until it fits, and a double-click saves once. Dates must fall between 1 Jan 2000 and twenty years from today, and a date outside the project's planned dates is pointed out (it can still be saved). Closing a dialog puts you back on the button that opened it.
Edit charter now changes the project's Code and Client too, lists what new planned dates would leave outside them, asks before throwing away unsaved edits (Cancel, Esc, Back, reload), and records each change — a rename, a new project manager, moved dates, edited objectives — on the project's Activity. A save with nothing changed sends nothing.
On the Phases tab, actual hours and percent complete take whole numbers only and say so beside the box (Enter whole hours from 0 to 100,000.) instead of quietly changing what was typed; they save on Enter or when you leave the box. Add phase starts the day after the last phase, for two weeks. Work packages and phases outside the project's or their phase's dates are marked.
Templates: a project made from one books every role on an unfilled placeholder (they count under Unfilled roles), dates a week-N milestone on the last day of week N, attaches each milestone to the phase it falls in, links only phases that follow each other, and keeps a package's own weeks and a milestone's acceptance criteria. The planned end follows the template; an earlier one is refused.
Templates: an empty one reads 0 weeks and can be used; two can no longer share a name; using one no longer changes its updated date; cards and pages say 1 milestone and Used 1 time, wrap long names, and say when a section is empty.
Projects: extra spaces no longer break Search, Esc empties it, an unknown filter in the address is ignored, project names are real links (open in a new tab), the column names and filters stay in view on a long list, the browser tab names the page, and a list left open picks up other people's changes. The command palette finds closed RAID entries and decided change requests too, with their status.
Closing a project lists what is still open and asks first; reopening one clears its actual end. A colleague can be a project's stakeholder once, and a scope line once per list. A client user is never offered as project manager or sponsor. An empty comment cannot be saved. Ask an admin says plainly when it could not send, and a refused Drive link says why.
You now stay signed in to Bridge Project for 30 days between visits, and every visit restarts the 30 days — closing the browser no longer signs you out. Signing out, here or in any BridgeME product, still ends every product at once, and changing your password signs out your other devices.
An app BridgeME does not offer yet — Google Drive, OneDrive, GitHub or GitLab — now says it isn't available on BridgeME yet, with nothing to press, instead of offering Ask an admin for a request nobody could grant.
You can now book a half day off: after choosing the dates on Time off, tick Half day (or the box beside each day you are taking half of in a longer request). The count, the request's Length, the approver's view and your allowance all count the half. Whole-day and multi-day requests work as before.
You now stay signed in to Bridge Time for 30 days between visits, and every visit restarts the 30 days — closing the browser no longer signs you out. Signing out, here or in any BridgeME product, still ends every product at once, and changing your password signs out your other devices.
Editing a comment now has the comment box's toolbar and Preview, and shows the pictures and files in it as thumbnails instead of lines of code. Click × on one to take only that one out, or paste, drop or attach more; Save keeps the words and the pictures you left.
You now stay signed in to Bridge Work for 30 days between visits, and every visit restarts the 30 days — closing the browser no longer signs you out. Signing out, here or in any BridgeME product, still ends every product at once, and changing your password signs out your other devices.
An app BridgeME does not offer yet — Google Drive, OneDrive, GitHub or GitLab — now says it isn't available on BridgeME yet on a task, with nothing to press, instead of sending you to an administrator who could not add it.
BridgeME Cloud
The two-factor banner's Set up two-factor now opens Security at the Two-factor authentication row, and the banner is no longer shown on Security itself, where the row says what your organisation asks. It still shows on every other page until two-factor is set up.
BridgeME Cloud
My access shows each feature's access as a badge — Can edit, View only or No access — with a line saying what they mean, instead of plain "Edit" and "View" words that looked like buttons.
BridgeME Cloud
The Connected apps box on Profile has the same padding as the other boxes, so its text and apps no longer touch its edges, on a narrow screen too.
BridgeME Cloud
A new password can no longer be your current password or one of your last five, whether you change it under Security or reset it with Forgot Password? — the page says so. When you set up two-factor, the recovery-codes step marks I have saved these codes somewhere safe as required and Sign out from other devices as optional, and Complete setup looks unavailable, with a line saying to tick the box, until you do.
BridgeME Cloud
You now stay signed in to BridgeME for 30 days, and every visit restarts the 30 days — closing the browser no longer signs you out while Keep me signed in for 30 days is ticked on the sign-in page (it starts ticked; untick it on a shared computer). Signing out still ends every product at once, and changing your password now always signs out your other devices.
BridgeME Cloud
An app BridgeME does not offer yet now says it isn't available on BridgeME yet in every product, instead of not installed for your organisation — so nobody is sent to Ask an admin for an app an administrator could not add.
Opening Bridge Canvas with no seat in it no longer ends on "We could not sign you in": you are signed in, the screen says you don't have a seat in Bridge Canvas, and Request a seat asks an admin of your organisation for one. Requested shows there until they decide, with Cancel request beside it; once you have a seat, sign in again.
Opening Bridge Docs with no seat in it no longer ends on "We could not sign you in": you are signed in, the screen says you don't have a seat in Bridge Docs, and Request a seat asks an owner or admin of your organisation for one. Requested shows there until they decide, with Cancel request beside it; once you have a seat, sign in again.
If you can see only your own time, asking for time entries without picking a person now shows yours instead of refusing. Someone without a seat in Bridge Time who follows a link into it is told they have no seat, with Request a seat, instead of a page that seemed not to exist. A Client role your organisation has given time tracking can now use Bridge Time.
A page your role does not include now shows a lock and names what you need — You don't have access to Bridge AI › AI assistance · Edit, with your role — and Request access asks your admins for it in a sentence; without a seat, Request a seat. Edit in AI governance on What Bridge AI knows is greyed out with a tooltip instead of hidden. The notification bell now works for everybody who can use Bridge AI.
A screen your role doesn't include now shows a notice naming it ("You don't have access to Bridge Canvas › Boards · View") with your role, and offers Request access — or Request a seat when you have no Bridge Canvas seat: say why and for how long, and an admin decides in BridgeME. The notice then says Requested with Cancel request, and an approved request opens the screen within a minute. New board and From template are greyed out with Needs Boards · Edit for a view-only role instead of hidden. Asking for one colleague's board is unchanged.
Where your role doesn't open a page, a notice with a padlock now takes its place, names what you'd need and your role, and offers Request access to ask an admin — or Request a seat if you have none in Bridge CRM. A save your role refuses shows the same notice. An approved request opens the page within a minute, without signing out.
A screen your role doesn't include now shows a notice with a lock that names what it needs ("You don't have access to Bridge Docs › Documents · Edit") with your role, and offers Request access — or Request a seat without one: say why and for how long, and an owner or admin decides in BridgeME. The notice then says Requested with Cancel request, and an approved request opens the screen within a minute. Set up workspace is greyed out, saying what it needs, instead of hidden.
A screen or an action your role doesn't include now names the feature ("You don't have access to Bridge Finance › Supplier bills · Approve") with your role, and offers Request access: say why and for how long, and an owner or admin decides in BridgeME. The notice then says Requested with Cancel request, and an approved request opens the screen within a minute.
If you're signed in but have no seat in Bridge Finance yet, the screen that says so now offers Request a seat: say why you need it, press Send request, and an owner or admin of your organisation decides in BridgeME. Requested shows there until they do, with Cancel request beside it. A notice about invoices, clients or expenses now names them as Bridge Time's, where those permissions are given.
Reports arrive: headcount over time, joiners and leavers, turnover and retention, absence rate, leave liability, people cost by department and against revenue per client, compa-ratio, time to hire and probation outcomes — each with a chart, filters, a CSV and how it is counted, hiding any group of fewer than 5. Home gains an HR summary: headcount, joiners and leavers this month, who is out today and open roles. Bridge AI can now ask Bridge HRM the same questions, as you.
A page or button your role does not include now shows a lock and names what you need — You don't have access to BridgeME HRM › Pay and payroll · View, with your role — and Request access asks your admins for it in a sentence; without a seat, Request a seat. Add person, Import and Add department are greyed out with a tooltip instead of hidden.
A page or button your role does not include now shows a lock and names what you need — You don't have access to Bridge Project › Project plans · Manage, with your role — and Request access asks your admins for it in a sentence; without a seat, Request a seat. Buttons you could ask for, such as New programme, are greyed out with a tooltip instead of hidden.
Where your role doesn't open a page, a notice with a padlock now takes its place and names what you'd need, with Request access to ask an admin; New project and Add client stay visible, greyed out, saying what they need. An approved request opens the page within a minute, without signing out.
If you're signed in but have no seat in Bridge Time yet, the screen that says so now has Request a seat: say why you need it, press Send request, and an admin of your organisation decides in BridgeME. Requested shows on the same screen until they do, with Cancel request beside it.
A change an admin makes to your access in BridgeME now reaches Bridge Work within seconds: a seat taken away, a role lowered or narrowed, or leaving the organisation applies to your very next click, and a seat or permission given to you opens at once, without signing in again. With no Bridge Work seat, the notice now offers Request a seat, which asks your admins for one.
A screen or button your role does not include now shows a lock and names what you need — You don't have access to Bridge Work › Tasks · Manage, with your role — and Request access asks your admins for it in a sentence. Buttons you could ask for are greyed out with a tooltip instead of hidden.
BridgeME Cloud
Signing in after being removed from an organisation now opens a page that says You are no longer a member of it, in so many words, with Switch organisation to any other organisation you belong to, See your invitations and Sign out — instead of a Home that failed piece by piece. When your membership could not be confirmed, the same page offers Try again.
BridgeME Cloud
Removing a member is now final at once: a sign-in they still had open no longer puts them back in the organisation. They are told You are no longer a member of it, and an owner or admin invites them again to bring them back.
BridgeME Cloud
A member can now ask for access to a feature their role lacks — from a product’s refusal, or under Profile → My access → My requests, where each ask shows where it stands and can be cancelled. Whoever manages members decides under Team → Requests (the bell shows each ask too, with Deny; approving opens the request): Approve gives an exception with an expiry, Change role and approve moves them to a role that includes it, Deny says no, each with a Note the person receives. The owner can switch requests off under Organization → Access.
BridgeME Cloud
The owner caps how long an exception may run under Access on the Organization page. People is a table with filters and bulk changes; a row opens the person’s drawer — role, products and Access, where an exception is made and expires. Roles are made and changed on the Roles tab: New role is three steps — Start from, Name and products, Features — and a role’s page is editable, with Save showing who gains and loses what first, Reset to default, Duplicate and Delete. The grid left the invite form; Create a role… there opens New role.
BridgeME Cloud
Team has an Audit tab: who changed what in your organisation, when and from where, with filters and a CSV download. An administrator reads it; nobody can edit or remove a line.
BridgeME Cloud
Changing a role, removing someone, transferring ownership or showing your API key now asks you to sign in again if your sign-in is older than ten minutes, and finishes the change for you after. Two-factor sign-in is required for administrators in every organisation, with fourteen days to set it up; the owner can turn it off, or require it for everyone, under Organization.
The notification bell has View all notifications at the bottom: it opens the Notifications page, with unread, mentions and archived, where a briefing, an alert or a playbook notice can be marked unread or archived and older ones are paged back as far as they go. Archiving one takes it out of the bell and marks it read.
Four fixes on the board: the right-click menu answers the keyboard again — Escape closes it, the arrow keys and a first letter move through it, Enter chooses; a sticky note, text, shape or frame can be placed by clicking on top of a frame, as on a template; the timer shows the length you chose from its first second, instead of a few seconds more; and a person's face menu stays open when they open the board in another tab.
The notification bell has View all notifications at the bottom: it opens the Notifications page, with unread, mentions and archived, where a Bridge Canvas access request or mention can be marked unread or archived and older ones are paged back as far as they go. Archiving one takes it out of the bell and marks it read.
View all notifications at the bottom of the bell opens the Notifications page, with unread, mentions and archived. Archiving a notification there marks it read and takes it out of the bell and Bridge CRM's own list; Archived keeps it until you put it back. The bell also shows the buttons other products offer on their notifications, such as Bridge Work's Unfollow this ticket.
Offline, the box that says something could not load now closes with Esc — before, a keyboard could not leave it until the connection was back. And once the connection is back, Try again opens what you asked for in place, such as the template picker, instead of reloading the page.
View all notifications at the bottom of the bell opens the Notifications page, with unread, mentions and archived. Bridge Docs notifications can now be archived there, marked unread again and paged back as far as they go; an archived one leaves the bell.
View all notifications at the bottom of the bell opens the Notifications page, with unread and archived. In Bridge Finance, read is shared: marking one read marks it for everyone; archiving puts it away for you only. Archiving a card payment notice also marks it read, and Mark unread puts one back for the whole team. The bell also shows the buttons other products offer on their notifications, such as Bridge Work's Unfollow this ticket.
The notification bell has View all notifications at the bottom: it opens the Notifications page, with unread, mentions and archived, where a Bridge HRM reminder or request can be marked unread or archived and older ones are paged back as far as they go. Archiving one takes it out of the bell and marks it read.
The notification bell has View all notifications at the bottom: it opens the Notifications page, with unread, mentions and archived, where a Bridge Project notification can be marked unread or archived and older ones are paged back as far as they go. Archiving one takes it out of the bell and marks it read.
The notification bell has View all notifications at the bottom: it opens the Notifications page, with unread, mentions and archived, where a timesheet reminder or budget alert can be marked unread or archived and older ones are paged back as far as they go. Archiving one takes it out of the bell and marks it read.
Notifications can be archived: point at one in the Inbox and click Archive, or use the Notifications page that All notifications → and the bell's View all notifications open. The bell also offers Unfollow this ticket beside a Bridge Work notification.
BridgeME Cloud
Roles are now kept feature by feature, as Compare roles shows them. A custom role is saved as that grid rather than as a list; an Owner or Admin can change a standard role for everyone on it — the Roles tab marks it customised and Reset to default puts BridgeME's version back, and the Admin role stays the owner's — and one person can hold an exception: one feature set differently for them alone, with an expiry if you want one, removed by Reset to role. Nobody's access changed with this update.
BridgeME Cloud
Team has two tabs. People is the list, the invitations and the invite form as before; Roles is new: Compare roles shows every role side by side, feature by feature — —, View or Edit with team, manage and approve marks — and each role's name opens its full page, with the Custom roles panel underneath. Profile has a My access tab that says which role you hold and what it lets you do in each product, with All permissions in plain words.
BridgeME Cloud
On the Notifications page, Mark unread now puts the unread count back up straight away, in the heading and on the Unread tab; it used to stay one low until the page was reloaded. And a notification you Archive or Put back while moving to another tab is shown in the right place once the product has done it, rather than left in the old one until the next refresh.
Share: the access for the people or groups you are adding is now chosen first, under Add as, and every chip and the button name it — Ada Lovelace · Can edit, Add 2 people as Can edit — because one choice applies to the whole batch. It used to sit after the picker unlabelled, so people picked at different moments looked as if they would get different access.
Bridge AI, and Claude or ChatGPT connected to BridgeME, can now add pages to a board and rename them, and start a new board with the pages you name, then put notes on any of them. A page added this way appears as a new tab at the end for everybody who has the board open. It used to be able to use only the pages a board already had.
Bridge Docs says when you are offline. A strip across the top reads You are offline; edits you make are kept and save by themselves when the connection is back; and something that cannot load without it, such as the template picker, says You are offline with Try again in its place instead of replacing the whole screen with an error.
Pages have Undo and Redo at the top, beside History, for the changes you just made — the same as ⌘Z / Ctrl+Z and ⇧⌘Z / Ctrl+Shift+Z, which Keyboard shortcuts now lists. Restoring a version is no longer the only way to take back an edit.
Importing a file again after deleting or archiving the pages it made counts those pages as new, and the review says so even when it was opened before they were deleted. It used to show them as already here with Import 0 pages. When nothing in a file is new, the button now reads Nothing new to import.
New entry, the timer bar, the calendar's entry panel and the week's Add a row now ask for the Project first and then the Task, instead of one long list of every project with all of its tasks. Task lists only the chosen project's tasks and has No task, so time can be logged to a project without one. The projects you used this week are at the top of Project, and typing a task's name there still finds the project it is on.
When a task is handed to somebody else, the person it left gets one last notification (unassigned you) and stops hearing about it, unless they created it, commented, were mentioned or chose Watch. Reassigned within a minute, it counts as a slip and the assigned you disappears. Stop watching now silences a task however you were following it, and the Inbox has Unfollow on each notification. Before, being assigned once — even for five seconds — kept you hearing about a task for good, and Stop watching left most of it coming.
Pace on the dashboards no longer counts archived tasks in Created or Closed, so its totals agree with Where the work is and the tiles. An archived task still counted as open in the weeks before it was archived.
Reading a task to the end in the Inbox panel, or on the task's own page, no longer scrolls the whole page up and leaves the bottom half of the window blank. Only the page area scrolls; the sidebar stays the full height of the window.
Hours used in a dashboard's Projects table now shows the hours tracked on each project, such as 508.48, instead of a dash whenever the project had no budget. With a budget in hours it reads against it, such as 42 / 100 (42%). Team dashboards show the same figures.
BridgeME Cloud
The bell has View all notifications, which opens a Notifications page with every product's notifications: All, Unread, Mentions and Archived tabs, a Product filter, Mark unread, Archive and Put back on each, Mark all read and Archive all read, and Load older for anything further back. Products gain archive and unread one by one; the page says which cannot yet.
Answers about people, clients and projects now come with their chart and table: who logged the most hours, client by client, project by project. Ask for a report or a dashboard and the card to add it is there, even when the answer is written out in full. A question about a period is read for that period whichever figures it needs, and a broad question such as "How did we do last quarter?" opens by saying which dates and figures it took, so you can correct it.
If your role doesn't include using Bridge AI, the sidebar no longer offers New chat or the saved dashboards, reports and schedules, and the conversation list says you don't have permission instead of "No conversations yet".
Bridge Work can now ask Bridge AI, as you, to turn a sentence such as "my urgent bugs due this week" into a task filter, and to suggest labels for a new task. Both need your Bridge AI seat, count towards your organisation's daily allowance, and store nothing here.
The Bridge AI task agent: turn it on under Playbooks, then delegate a Bridge Work task to it. It drafts a plan as a comment and the steps as sub-tasks for you to approve, and Bridge Work shows how far it has got. It has no hour and no Run now, because it starts when you delegate.
Search boards finds a board by part of a name or code with a hyphen, dot or slash in it: qa-t finds QA-T014, and v1.2 finds a board that mentions v1.2. It used to find nothing for those.
Click in a simple table and a Table bar appears above it, to add or delete rows and columns, switch the Header row or delete the table — no right-click needed. A table inside a quote, a callout or a list item can now be edited too.
Importing from Excel or CSV now finds each table's header row even with a title or notes above it, keeps every column, brings the title and notes as text on the page, and makes each table on a sheet its own database. Long text in a cell wraps and opens in full.
A favourite's star stays in its row in the sidebar when you hover it, so you can take the page out of Favourites from there.
Performance arrives: review cycles with self, manager, peer and calibration stages, each review opening with the period's facts from Bridge Time, Project, Work, CRM and Docs; goals with key results and check-ins; one-to-ones with shared agendas and private notes; skills that Bridge Project staffs with, and certifications with reminders; and pay reviews that become pay with a letter.
Pace on the dashboards no longer shows a cycle time below zero. A task first made in Bridge Time now counts from the day it was made there, not the day it appeared in Work, and a task whose dates say it was finished before it was created is left out of the average, with a line such as 2 tasks left out: finished before they were created. It still counts in Closed.
A task's Due date can no longer be before its Start date. New task and the task page say Due date must be on or after the start date. under Due, and the date pickers grey out the days that would break it. The same day for both is fine.
Calendar stays the calendar: choosing List, Board or Table there now opens Tasks in that view with the same filters, instead of turning the Calendar page into a list the next time you open it.
The calendar keeps the month or week you were on when you open a task and come back with Back or the link at the top of the task, and the line under Calendar now counts only the tasks on the grid — with a due date, matching your filters — and the teams they are in.
Every workspace has a Reopened status, after Done: choose it in Status when a finished task comes back. It has its own board column, list group and filter, and moving a task out of Done or Cancelled into an open status reads “reopened this task” in its activity. A workspace that already had a status called Reopened keeps its own.
Clicking a picture in a task's description or in a comment opens it full size, with Download, instead of opening the description for editing and showing the picture as a line of text. Edit the description by clicking its words or the pencil Edit description. A file in the description downloads without opening the editor.
Tasks can be delegated to Bridge AI's task agent: it drafts a plan and sub-tasks, and you approve each one in Bridge AI before anything is added. The task's Agent row shows how far it has got, and Filter › Agent and Agent Session find delegated tasks.
The Filter menu now follows Linear's order, with Advanced filter… at the top, and has four new ways to narrow a list: Dates › Completed (when a task was finished), Added to cycle (planned at the start, added after the cycle started, or carried over from an earlier cycle), External source (made here, from a client request, Claude, BridgeME Go, Slack or Teams, another BridgeME product, or imported from Jira, Asana, ClickUp, monday.com, Trello, Linear or Basecamp) and Template. A cycle's roll-over now shows on each task it carried.
Teams can now close untouched work on their own: in Settings → Teams, set Auto-close to 30, 90, 180 or 365 days, and backlog and to-do tasks nobody has changed or commented on for that long move to a cancelled status. Started work is never closed. Filter › Auto-closed lists them, and each says so in its activity.
Two new ways to use Bridge AI on tasks: Filter › AI filter turns a sentence such as *my urgent bugs due this week* into a filter you can see and change, and Suggest labels on a task (or for every new task in a team, from Settings → Teams) offers labels you can apply or dismiss. Filter › Suggested label finds tasks with a suggestion waiting. Both need a Bridge AI seat.
A task you delete for good now stays gone. Before this, a task emptied from the trash could come back with a new number the next time somebody in your workspace signed in.
Answers are more exact. Money is quoted in pounds, dollars or euros with the right decimals, never off by a factor of ten or a hundred. A question about last quarter, this month or year to date is answered for exactly that period, and the answer says which dates it covers. Ask to see figures as a chart and the chart is drawn; when the assistant offers a dashboard, the card to add it is there. When the AI account runs out of credit you are told so, rather than that the assistant could not be reached.
Undo and Redo now take back or re-apply a move in one click, including a move into or out of a frame and the first move of a note placed on a frame. Two moves in a row are two undos.
Copy and paste now works between boards: select items on one board, press ⌘C, open another board and press ⌘V (or right-click → Paste). Notes, shapes, frames and the lines between them arrive as editable copies.
The page bar moved to the bottom left. ‹ and › go to the previous and next page, + adds a page at the end, and you reorder pages by dragging a tab or from its right-click menu. A board opened again keeps all its pages, in their order.
A client added in another BridgeME product, such as from a Bridge Time import, now appears in Companies within a minute, without signing in to Bridge CRM again. Adding a company with the same name brings up that client instead of saying the name is taken.
Payroll arrives: prepare each month's pay run with every line's source, have it co-signed by a second person, close it into Bridge Finance, Xero or QuickBooks, export it for Gusto, ADP or Deel, and share payslips under My payslips.
After an update, a tab that was already open reloads itself once instead of showing an error when you open New task or a task preview. Before, it could show Unexpected Application Error! until you refreshed the page.
You can delete a comment or reply you posted on a task: Delete under it, then confirm. It reads Comment deleted for everyone, in the same place, with any replies kept; its words leave search. Only the person who wrote a comment can delete it.
A resolved or closed request that was never turned into work now says so where Turn this into work was — "This request is resolved. To turn it into work, set its Status back to a working status" — and setting its Status back brings Create a task and Raise a change request back.
Comments take any file, not only pictures: paste, drop or click the paperclip (Attach files) in a task's comment box or a request's reply box. A picture shows as itself; any other file as a chip with its name and size that downloads it. Every file is also listed under Attachments, with the same 10 MB limit, and a file that is refused is taken back out of the comment with the reason.
Deliverables can be created: New deliverable on the Deliverables page and on a client's Deliverables tab (managers and admins), for a client's project, starting as a Draft. A client's empty Requests, Deliverables and Projects tabs now say so instead of showing a blank box, and a deliverable's activity is kept after the page is reloaded.
